  Is that podium thing unique to JW's? Do they build them?

  i was wondering about that half-table/half-podium thing that jw's use on the platform.

  is that unique to jw's & do they build them, like shakers had their own furniture?.

  How can they pioneer? And I am sure there is a kickback.

  The podium misnomer always bothered me, but I pride myself on at least trying to know my language. I will say speakers stand. If you want to raise hackles call it a pulpit. The podium is properly a soapbox or stump.🤨 they dont know a rostrum when they see one

  The adjusting wheel is for brother tall to follow brother midget, it is where he can run it. Dont forget the misadjustment of mikes. Exploding p's or echoes. When i used to read they would put the damn thing right in the middle of my sight line to the text; on talks right at the cross eyed spot for audience contact.

  no...not a warning from me, rather that is the subject of the "local needs" that i heard was presented via zoom tonight.. beware of apps!

  they harped on the idea that only apps approved by the governing body should ever be downloaded or used by jdubs.

  they said if they had not been featured in the litterature or specifically recommended by the governing body then jdubs should heed the warning and avoid them.. i guess they are, as we all suspected, very afraid of what the dubs will find out now that they have to use only electronic devices for their "food"..

  So far the shepherds have not called. The meeting didn't address shopping for elderly, checking on them, or the job losses. They however did hammer on you better be wearing a tie. Brother thick accent will do the memorial.

  One friend, one relative had nasty flu with fever, but no tests. If we did know someone it would put all the panic and looming bankruptcies in perspective. Either know for sure it is a danger or know we are being hosed.

  Will Governor Cuomo be the Next President?

  trying to put politics aside (even though that won't really work), but ny governor andrew cuomo is blowing the other politicians out out the water (orange man [trump] and the lizard [biden]).. i don't know if cuomo has a usb port in the back of his head plugged into a hard drive but the guy speaks, analyzes and talks coherently.

  the orange man always passes difficult questions to someone else.

  the lizard can't comprehend what the question is but tries to answer something.. cuomo comes out with facts, analysis and direction on what needs to be done.

  For maybe the first time trump is deferring to experts. A good leader knows how to get the best to do the job instead of thinking he has all the knowhow.
